About Randy

Randy Gariss is the Director of the Life and Ministry Preparation Center at Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Missouri.

Randy served as the Senior Minister of College Heights Christian Church in Joplin, Missouri, from 1982 to 2015. He and his wife, Julie, married in 1976, have 3 grown children, and are now joyfully playing the role of grandparents.

Randy has worked with over 3,000 couples in problem marriage counseling, and over 700 couples in pre-marital counseling. He is in high demand as a speaker for marriage conference and seminars, and often speaks on college campuses. He has a Master’s Degree from Cincinnati Bible College and Seminary. In his spare time he builds custom furniture and forces it upon his children.
